Georgia Animal Rescue and Defence, Inc. (GARD) is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located near Savannah, GA. GARD took in approximately 56 Poodle mix dogs from a puppy mill in Georgia in July, 2009, and 34 more dogs from the same puppy mill in August, 2009.
